Every year, the Peak District welcomes over 13 million visitors to their national park. As a tourism business, we are committed to providing exciting, responsible, and sustainable tourism, minimising the environmental impact of our operations on the environment.
By encouraging more visitors to choose a cycling holiday, the more we can raise awareness of environmentally friendly ways of enjoying countryside’s.
Supporting our Local Community
We’re operated by Matlock-based charity Rural Action Derbyshire, whose work not only supports local tourism and accommodation providers. Any profits will be donated to the charity, which aims to ensure no one is unfairly disadvantaged because they live in a rural area. The funds will help to support:
- Food Banks and Community Pantries
- Transport for isolated communities
- Lower heating costs for rural residents
- Rural Domestic Abuse Awareness training
- Supporting volunteers running village halls and community buildings
- And more!
I’d recommend the service to anyone taking a break in the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. E-bikes are great for getting around the area and a fun activity for all the family to do together.

What do we need from you?
There are only three requirements for us to offer our services at your holiday site. You must:
- Have secure bike storage, preferably indoors
- Have space for our van to drop off and collect bikes
- Let us know that you will be happy for Peaks & Dales to deliver at your site
